Shannon, relief fund investigator. According to Shannon, Gauci. who is named in the warrant as Gaecci. drew all but $240 from a bank and was about to use the balance for a ticket to his home land. Gauci denied that he ever had a $3500 balance, and declared he had $200 in the bank, but owed the money to a doctor for treatment of a daughter, injured in an automobile accident.
