Mrs. Flack, 33, Native Of Turbotville, Dies
Mrs. Carl Flack, a native of Turbotville, died at 7 a. m. Thursday at Geisinger Hospital, Dan- ville, at the age of 33 years. She had been ill for a year with a heart condition and was a hospital patient at various times for treatmentMrs. Flack, the former Evelyn Houghton, left Turbotville early in life and resided in the vicinity of Millville after that itme. She was a graduate of Millville High School in 1927, was a member of the Lutheran Church and the Civic Club, and was active in community affairs. Surviving are her husband, two daughters, her mother, Mrs. Ruth Houghton, Millville R. D; her father, Millard Houghton, Watsontown; and one brother, Truman, serving in the South Pacific with it.

Lillian Jane Houghton, 83, Sarasota, died Nov. 29, 1997.

She was born July 23, 1914, in Greensburg, Ky., and came to Sarasota 38 years ago from Ocala. She was co-owner of Mel's Furniture Store in Sarasota. She retired in 1971. She was a Presbyterian and member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Lakeland.

Survivors include a daughter, Deborah J. of Sarasota; three sisters, Elizabeth Ratcliffe of Campbellsville, Ky., Ruth Baur of Bryan, Texas, and Mary Barclay of Tampa; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Toale Brothers, Gulf Gate Chapel. The service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the Chapel at Bee Ridge Presbyterian Church. Burial will be in Sarasota Memorial Park.
