She was born and raised on the Island of Malta and immigrated to San Francisco with her husband, Frank in 1969. She was raised during World War II enduring the hardships of the Siege of Malta. In her younger years she resided in Canada and then moved back to Malta where she met her husband Frank and they emigrated to the United states. She was one of four siblings. One of whom, she is survived by; her sister Mary, who still lives in Malta. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Her interests included, family, sewing, gardening and religion. She was also a very good cook. She will be greatly missed by family and friends.
Friends and family are invited to attend Rosary services on March 22 at 7:00pm and visitation from 5-8pm, at Chippen & Flynn Carlmont Chapel 1111 Alameda de Las Pulgas Belmont CA 94002. Funeral services will be on March 23, 1:00am at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 1040 Alameda de Las Pulgas Belmont, California 94002 . with the reception at the Maltese American Social Club, 924 El Camino Real South San Francisco.

Mary Dalli, 82, a resident of Citrus Heights, passed away peacefully in her home on Wednesday, March 16th. Mary loved being around people, going to church, playing Bingo and spending time with her family. She is survived by her sister, Carmen Micallef, four children, Ivo Dalli (and wife, Christine), Joe Dalli (and wife, Sandy), Julie Dalli and Dave Dalli, her grandchildren Dominique, Gregory, Anthony, Amy, Jeffrey and her great grandson, Vincent.
