Homer Houghton Buried At Richland Sunday Afternoon
Funeral services for Homer Eugene Houghton were held at Harmony church in Richland, Sunday afternoon at two-thirty o'clock with Rev. Godfrey having charge of the services.
His death occured Saturday morning at three-fifteen o'clock, at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Tom A. Houghton. He passed quietly away after having been in failing health for the past several months.
He was born in Stewart county on December 18, 1903, near Lumpkin. He spent his childhood days in Stewart and Webster county, receiving his education at Lumpkin and Richland High School. He was a young man of very high qualities. He was noted for his sweet disposition, and always tried his best to do the things most pleasing to God. Pallbearers were Troy Castleberry, Homer Castleberry, George Snipes, Heny Jenkins, Hamer Abell, Guy Goar and D. T. Elder. Burial was in the church cemetery.
Mr. Houghton is survived by his wife, son, William Houghton of Montgomery, parents, Mrs. and Mrs. T. A. Houghton of Richland, brothers J. S. and H. M. Houghton of Richland, sisters, Mrs. Willis Simonton, Richland and Miss Donie Houghton of Columbus. Mr. Houghton had been ill for some time.

Henry Kibler and Missouri Harrie¹

Biography

Lola was the daughter of Henry and Missouri Harrington. Her mother may have been married prior to marrying Henry.

Some of Lola's siblings were Maude, Eddie, Freddie, and Llwellyn Harrington.

Prior to Lola's birth the family lived in Linn County, Kansas for the 1895 census of that state. By 1900 the young children were scattered and living with various people in Linn County.

Lola gave her birth state as Missouri but she may have been born in Kansas.

She was married to Edward James Kibler. The couple married on February 11th, 1914 in Jackson, Cape Girardeau, Missouri.

Her daughter was Violet Marie Kibler. Violet married Thomas Peter Campbell in Omaha in March of 1934. By 1940 the couple had daughter Bonnie Jean Campbell. Bonnie would later marry Vernon Leroy Camden in Omaha in September of 1953.

Lola married Everett Houghton in Council Bluffs, Iowa on May 23rd, 1923.

She later married James M King.

Her burial date was February 16th, 1971.
