Obituary

Walter Houghton Dies; Was Veteran Of English Army
Walter J. Houghton. 66, of 6835 Akron Road, Lockport, died unexpectedly Wednesday (Jan, 3, 1962) at his home. Born in Sheffield, England, Feb. 1895, Mr. Houghton came to this country at the age of 25. Hle was an employee of Harrison Division of General Motors "Corp, for 25 years, and also WAS employed at the Bell Aircraft ' Corp, of Niagara Falls for sev- eral years. At the time of his death, he was employed at Dussault Foundry. Mr. Houghton was a veteran of the English Army in World War I and a member of Grace Episcopal Church. Surviving him are his wife. Margaret Head Houghton; two daughters Mrs. Harold Sink of Saugus, Calif; Mrs. Edward Smith of Lockport; and six grand- children.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Gaul’ Funeral Home, 263 East Ave.Fu- neral services will be conducted- from Grace Episcopal Church at n time to be announced.
