She was born in Montour, Oct. 12. 1865. the daughter of Charles C. and Esther Sharp Coffin. She was educated in the Marshalltown public schools.
She was married to Eli Lee Houghton on April 17. 1886, Marshalltown. Mrs. Houghtoon was a member of the First Methodist church of Marshalltovn and she was a
member of Electric Reekah Lodge No. 331 of Marhalltown. Mrs. Houghton was life member of the Daughters of Union Veterans tent number 58 of Waterloo
Surviving are one son. Floyd A. Houghton of 1724 lulberry St; four grandchildren and seven great grand-children. She was preceded ineath by her parents, her husband in 1955. and by two sons

Mr. Houghton was an Army veteran of World War I and farmed in Minnesota before coming to Phoenix 24 years ago. He was born in Davenport, Iowa.
Survivors include his wife, Anna Theresa; children, Mrs. Lillian Lange, George and Duane Houghton; eight grandchildren and eight greatgrandchildren.
Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery.

were shocked and saddened by her untimely death .Those who are at a loss for words how to express their heart felt sympathy to the bereaved . was Born March 16 1899 in Candor Township ,Vergas Minnesota The daughter of Ferdinand and Bertha (Zuehl) Wischnak . She married Lloyd Houghton Nov 12 1919. She is survived by Husband Lloyd One Daughter Lillian two sons George and Duane all at home . One sister Mrs Anna Hannusch St Anthony, Iowa
