MAX B. HOUGHTON Funeral service will be conducted at 10 a m today for Max B Houghton, 73. who died at his residence Wednesday. Services will be conducted In the Tommy Cox Mortuary chapel with the Rev. James Williamson officiating. Following the services the body will t*e sent to Denver, Colo., for final services.
A resident of Harlingen since 1948, Mr Houghton moved here from !>cnvtr. He wa.s retired from the Associated American Railroad following some 58 years of service
He was a member of the Parkwood Methodist Church and Masonic Lodge No. 93, Denver. Mr Houghton is survived by his wife, Mrs Mildred. Houghton of Harlingen; a daughter, Miss Eleanor Maxine Houghton of Denver; a niece and four nephews.
