Huntington, Sept. 12 —Funeral services were held yesterday for the Rev. Edward L. Houghton. 85, retired minister, who died Friday at Huntington Hospital. Burial was in Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford. Massachusetts.
Born in Lawrence, Kan., on Sept. 20. 1858. he moved with his family to Medford and, after studying for the ministry, was ordained. He resided at 1705 New York Ave., Huntington. with his daughter. Alcina Houghton, language instructor at South Huntington High School. Miss Houghton is the sole survivor.
