He was retired after 41 years as a tool maker for Ford Motor Co. He is survived by his wife, Grace C; four sons, LLoyd B. Jr. of Louisville, Ky; Albert H. of Flat Rock, Mich; Richard L. of Honolulu, and Roger L. of Belleville, Mich; three daughters, Barbara G. Thiede and Catherine E. Price, both of Zephyrhills, and Pamela A. Wood of Belleville; a sister, Betty Brown of Ruskin; 11 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. Oakley Funeral Home, Zephyrhills.

Barefoot Bay, Fla. ? Evelyn A. Houghton of 817 Tamarind Circle, Barefoot Bay, Fla., and formerly of Redford, N.Y., died Wednesday, April 13, 2005, at the Sebastian River Medical Center in Sebastian, Fla.

She was born on Aug. 13, 1947, in Troy, N.Y., to Alfred and Theresa (Collins) Pellerin, but spent most of her childhood in Redford. She graduated from Saranac Central School in 1966.

Evie married her husband of 38 years, Alan J. Houghton, on Aug. 12, 1968. They moved to Florida in 1981. Evie worked for many years for various companies, spending the last 20 years in the food service department of the Harris Corporation in Melbourne, Fla.

Evie was an accomplished cook and loved nothing better than cooking for her family when they visited. She loved shopping only slightly less.

She is survived by her husband, Alan, of Barefoot Bay; sisters, Jennifer Gosselin and her husband Richard of Springfield, Vt., and Susan Wilson of Ogdensburg, N.Y; brothers, Joseph Pellerin and his wife Linda of Chazy Lake, N.Y., Glenn Pellerin and his wife Christina of Redford and Jeffrey Pellerin and his wife Linda of Ogdensburg, N.Y; many nieces, nephews and cousins; and several aunts and uncles. She also leaves behind her precious "babies," Shih Tzus Tai Tai, Maggie and China Rose.

Evie is predeceased by her parents.

At Evie's request there will be no calling hours and her remains will be cremated.

Memorial donations may be made to the Cancer Care Centers Foundation, 1430 South Pine St., Melbourne, FL 32901; one's local SPCA; or a charity of one's choice.²

OAKHAM -- Terri E. (Palumbo) Houghton, 52, of Oakham, died Monday, April 18, 2005, at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, following a brief illness.
She was the wife of Mike A. Houghton, to whom she was married for more than 20 years.
Mrs. Houghton was born in Waterbury, Conn., the daughter of Nick Palumbo of Ashland and Rosa (Whittum) Palumbo of Yarmouthport. She grew up in Waterbury and lived in Framingham until 1985, when she moved to Oakham.
Mrs. Houghton was a 1971 graduate of Sacred Heart High School in Waterbury and a 1976 graduate of Anna Marie College in Paxton, where she majored in social work. She was a teacher in the Holden, Rutland and Quabbin school districts for more than 10 years, teaching at all levels of education.

She loved her children and family deeply.
Besides her husband and parents, she leaves two children, Christopher and DeAnna Houghton, both of Oakham; a brother, Paul Palumbo of Westfield, N.J., and three sisters, Laura Foley of Plymouth, Cathy DeFuria of Acton and Ellen Wescott of Yarmouthport; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held Friday, April 22, at 11 a.m., at the Greendale People's Church, 25 Francis St., Worcester.
Visiting hours will be held Thursday, April 21, from 4 to 7 p.m., at the Miles Funeral Home (www.milesfuneralhome.com), 1158 Main St., Holden.
Instead of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Terri Houghton Children's Fund, c/o Sovereign Bank New England, 75 State St., Boston, MA 02110.
