Emporia, KS, USA, Albert W. Houchton Dead Albert W. Houghton. of Turner. formerly of Emporia, died Monday : ac Osawatomie. Son of the late Mr. and Mrs Walter W. Houghton, he was born September 3, 1899. in Emporia. He married Mary Volz in Einporia. Survivors include the wife, of the home three sons, Albert D., of Turner, Edward W., of Topeka, and Richard A., of Emporia; two daughters. Miss Mary Alice Houghton, of Topeka. and Miss Marlene of Turner; one broiher, W. Wvnne Houghton, Middlebom, W. Va/ one sister, Mrs. Maude Jann. Los Angeles. Calif. Funeral services for Albert W Houghton, of Turner, who died Monday in Osawatomie, were held at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon in the Roberts-Blue chapel. The Rev Forrest J. Reynolds, pastor of the Grace Methodist church, was in charge. Denis Cowan sang, accompanied by Mrs. Robert Plummer. Burial was in Phillips cemetery northeast of Emporia. Pallbearers were G. W. Tackett Fred Barrett. J. S. Morris. Clifton Hosterman, Ed Osman and Fred tile. Out-of-town persons present were Mrs. Houghton and children Marlene and Albert D, Tumer- Miss Mar>- Alice and Edward W Houghton, Topeka: Mr. and Mrs' D. J. Volz and D. H. Volz, all of Harold E -
