Eileen Regina Kealy and Albert Alfred Cassar were divorced on 6 May 1991 at Pierce, WA, USA. Eileen Regina Kealy died on 6 August 2008 at Bellingham, WA, USA, at age 78.

Obituary: on 12 August 2008: Eileen Regina Cassar of Bellingham WA, born July 18, 1930 in Staten Island, NY to John Jo- seph Kealy and Anita Lupton Kealy. She passed away peace- fully sur- rounded by family on Au- gust 6, 2008. She was the greatest mother and best friend to her chil- dren who were always her most important priority. She is preceded in death by her daughter Eileen Cassar. She is survived by her children; Anita Ashton of Camas, WA, Thomas Cassar of Win- nemucca, NV, Kenneth Cas- sar of Norwich, CT, Mary Latta of Bellingham, WA, Catherine Elder of Duluth, MN, Nancy Haub of The Woodlands, TX and Janet Cassar of Bellingham, WA. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She will be greatly missed but never forgotten by her fami- ly and countless friends. A celebration of her life will be held at the Squalicum Boat House in Bellingham on August 15th at 6 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Whatcom Hospice, to whom we will be forever grateful.

Augustus Cassar was born to Patrick Cassar (Feb 17, 1878 – May 29, 1954) and Helena (sometimes listed as Ellen or Elena) Fromow (April 29, 1876 – Dec 14, 1864 – both of whom were born in Gibraltar. They married June 5, 1904 at St Mary the Crowned in Gibraltar and emigrated to the US as far as we can tell on Feb 24, 1930. Both are buried at the Cavalry Cemetery in Queens.

Patrick was himself born to Patricio Cassar, born 1842 in Malta, and Mary Zammut, (sometimes written Maria Zamit in records) born 1855 in Malta. Records indicate Patrick’s siblings were Francis Cassar born 1873, Joseph Cassar born 1876, Juana/Jane Cassar born 1881, Ellen/Elena born 1884 and Antonio/Antony born 1888.

Patricio’s Parents as far as we can tell based on ancestry records and conversations with distant relatives, were Francisco Cassar and Maria Vella, both of Malta though we don’t have specific DOB information for them. We haven’t been able to find anything regarding Maria/Mary Zammut’s parents at this time, though we speculate they were also Maltese

Helenas parents weren’t Maltese as far as we can tell.
