She was a former schoolteacher in Amsterdam and Fort Plain. She retired 22 years ago. She had lived here 30 years. Mrs: Haughton was a member of Fort Plain Methodist Church. She leaves her husband. The funeral will be at 2 Thursday from the Gray Funeral Home with the Rev/. W. Engel pastor of the Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Fort Plain Cemetery.
