Born January 27, l931, Mammoth, Utah to John Arthur and Jenneve Houghton. His father passed away in l939, and he was raised by a stepfather, Carl Erickson. Married Jytte B. Christensen, June 14, l957. She passed away September 6, 1994. Retired from Amoco Pipeline after 23 years. Resident of Rawlins, Wyoming for 28 years.

Survived by a niece; Ellen (Cory) Houseal, Sandy; nephew; John (Gretchen) Christensen and son, John, Salt Lake City; sisters, Rosie Byerley, Gastonia, North Carolina, Bonnie (George) Ferwerda, Carmichael, California.

Graveside services will be held Friday Sept. 6, l996, 3 p.m., at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 10600 South 1700 East, Sandy, where friends and family may call one hour prior to the services.
